Licensed Practical Nurse
Mt. Assisi Place personal care home in Ross Township has an immediate need for a Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN) to join our care team in either a full-time or part-time role.
The LPN is responsible for the prescribed care of our Residents and coordinates with our Resident Care Aides to direct care of our Residents.

LPN certification and experience with medication administration a must. Previous experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
Pay rate is negotiable based on candidate experience. Full-time positions are eligible for medical, dental and vision benefits. Earn paid time off (PTO) while you work. All employees enjoy free onsite parking and $3 employee meals!

Status: Hourly, Part-Time or Full-Time
Duties & Responsibilities
Instructs and supervises Resident Care Aides in various procedures to provide effective care
Promotes safety in care and surroundings
Transcribes and communicates doctor’s orders
Initiates contact with physician, family and emergency services in event
of Resident’s illness in order to provide essential careProperly administers and stores medications according to state regulations
Updates monthly MARs
Prepares weekly lab orders
Assesses Residents upon admission to or return from a hospital stay
Obtains monthly vital signs
Coordinates Resident appointments and prepares documents to expedite medical care
Participates in Resident’s plan of care by implementing, evaluating and monitoring support plans to enhance quality of life
Participates in staff in-services to promote health awareness for the Resident
Promotes independence and provides emotional support
Represents the Administrator (in the event of absence from the facility) by taking initial steps in resolving problems or conflicts involving staff, Resident or family member
Promotes Mt. Assisi Place quality standards
