Sunday Mass
The School Sisters of St. Francis coordinate Mass each Sunday morning in our Our Lady of the Angels Chapel. Family members are welcome to accompany Residents to the service.
Craft Workshop
We will welcome back Jean Armany, daughter-in-law, of former Resident Alice Armany, to guide our Residents in making a special craft project. We will gather at the right side of the Dining Room beginning at 11 a.m. on Sunday, February 23. All supplies will be provided.
Mardi Gras Music with Sam
This week, Sam Rice will share Mardi Gras-themed music with Residents during his regular Sunday music appreciation session.
Residents are invited to the Marian Hall 1st-Floor Lounge each Sunday at 1 p.m. for Classical Music Appreciation. During these weekly afternoon gatherings, our friend Sam Rice shares classical music selections and intriguing information about the composers and their work. The music is both relaxing and nurturing for the brain. Please join us.

We will put a fun musical spin on our morning exercise routine with Movin’ to the 60s, featuring some of our favorite tunes from the decade of change.

Bookmobile Visit & Group Bible Study
Residents will have an opportunity to select new reading and listening material, courtesy of a visit from the Allegheny County Bookmobile, which will be onsite in the Marian Hall third-floor lounge at 2 p.m. Afterwards, we will stick around and share in our weekly Bible Study with Sister Georgette.
February Birthday Bash
We’ll keep the good times rolling with our February Birthday Bash over lunch (11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m.) on Thursday, February 27, in the dining room. This month will feature music by one of our favorite entertainers, Hey Joe!

Residents interested in writing, reading and listening to poetry can join “The Poetry Man” John Conte in the dining room (right side) for a time of creative sharing. The group usually meets on the first Friday of each month.

Wii Bowling in Marian Hall
Things get pretty competitive when we gather in the Marian Hall Second-Floor Lounge each Wednesday afternoon for Wii Bowling. Residents use a motion-activated controller to play virtual games of bowling on our Wii video game system. Not only do we have a blast, but it’s also good exercise!
Bible Study
Sister Georgette Dublino visits Mt. Assisi Place each Wednesday to share scripture, music and reflection with our Residents who wish to deepen their spirituality. All are welcome.
