Ross/West EMS Fee
Mandatory for Residents

March 11, 2025

Ross/West View Emergency Medical Services Authority has asked that we share with our Residents and their families information about the mandatory annual EMS fee ordinance in Ross Township. Please click the green buttons on this page to read an explanation of the program and to access the official fee notice for payment.

Ross/West View EMSA is the agency that responds to Mt. Assisi Place when an ambulance is called. This fee of $49.50 (if paid within 45 days) is mandatory for all Residents of Ross Township, including those living in personal care facilities. It is important that families read this information and pay the fee in a timely manner. Payment should be made directly to Ross/West View EMSA and not to Mt. Assisi Place.

Important Note: Regardless of a Resident's original move-in date, the fee is $49.50 for Mt. Assisi Place Residents if paid by March 31, 2025. After that, the fee increases to $55.

Please note that this annual fee is not imposed by Mt. Assisi Place. Rather, it is a mandatory ordinance enacted by Ross and other local municipalities to support emergency services and to ensure that those transported by ambulance do not have to pay out-of-pocket expenses for emergency services not covered by medical insurance.
